On the western edge of Williamson County, just north of Leander and Cedar Park and not far from Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Texas is a city between the north and south forks of San Gabriel River in in Williamson County. It is 15 miles west of Georgetown and 33 miles northwest of Austin. It is a very scenic Texas Hill Country area.
Today, Liberty Hill has several upscale neighborhoods being built around downtown. Current residents are trying to preserve Liberty Hill’s charm and history throughout all this growth. Downtown Liberty Hill still has many of their original buildings, a few of them restored.
The growing community has something to offer all residents. You can find starter homes, equestrian neighborhoods, luxury homes, acreage properties. Also, numerous new builder communities are popping up everywhere.
Many people are attracted to the area because of its beautiful natural setting, wonderful parks and great school system. It also is easy to drive into Austin and surrounding areas because of the many options and access to Toll Roads and highways.
